Keith A. Edleman
March 30, 1949 - May 4, 2026

After a brief, but valiant, battle against metastatic cancer, Keith A. Edleman, aged 77, passed away on Monday, May 4. He was at home in Royersford with his family gathered there. Keith and Joyce, his wife of nearly 55 years, raised two sons, Kirk and Travis, and have 4 grandchildren. He is survived by sisters Elizabeth and Jenifer and brother Jeff.

After graduating from Millersville State College in 1971, Keith taught middle school and high school students math and computer science for 40 years...most of them at Spring-Ford. His Master's degree in computer science came from DeSales University in Allentown. Keith coached girls track, coached and refereed high school boy's soccer and refereed H.S. basketball.

He was involved in the Limerick, Ireland exchange student program, hosting the Irish students and visiting Ireland with Spring-Ford students. He and friends had the unique experience of building a geodesic dome home in 1980 on a beautiful wooded lot which he and his sons worked on over the next 25 years.

Keith and Joyce spent much of the last 20 years traveling internationally and, before that, traveled east of the Mississippi on fun family vacations as one of the initial members of a time-sharing organization. For the last 15 years, they were snowbirds in Venice, FL and renovated a home there. Throughout his life, Keith attended Royersford United Methodist Church and was later active in Venice Presbyterian Church.

A celebration of life will be held at the Royersford United Methodist Church, 380 Church Street, Royersford, PA on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a visitation from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM in the church on Saturday morning. Burial will be held privately. Contributions in his memory may be sent to an organization of your choice.
