Kelly Vesey, 51, died September 20, 2022, in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania.

Born in Media, PA on December 12, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Joseph T. Vesey and late Maureen A. Vesey. Kelly graduated from William Tennent High School (Warminster, PA) in 1989 and subsequently from Gwynedd-Mercy University (Gwynedd Valley, PA) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2000. While attending Gwynedd-Mercy, Kelly was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda in 1997, a National Honor Society recognizing academic success for returning adult students. Kelly worked in several different jobs but found more joy spending time with her family and friends.

Kelly is survived by a sister, Coleen Matey, Phoenixville, PA, brother Joseph P. Vesey and sister-in-law Kristen E. Vesey, Brookfield, CT. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews: Meghan Matey, Rachel Matey, Kellie Ann Matey and Mary Matey along with Chase Vesey, Jake Vesey, Gavin Vesey, Caroline Vesey and Kaitlin Vesey. Kelly was always very close to, and survived by, her best friend, Gail Sourwine (Levittown, PA) and Gail's family. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kelly was preceded in death by her grandmother Kathryn (Walsh) Vesey (Scranton, PA) and brother-in-law, David S. Matey (Phoenixville, PA). Interment is Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, General Rochambeau Section - Area B, Valley Forge, PA.
