Kenneth G. Florence, 80, husband of the late June (Aris) Florence, of Parker Ford, formerly of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late George and Marion (Maskell) Florence.

Mr. Florence graduated school in Saugaus, Mass. and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Columbus. He was employed as an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service.

He was an avid stamp collector and love animals, especially cats. He enjoyed playing cards and games with his family.

Mr. Florence is survived by one daughter: Dawn L., wife of Rohn Wilcox, of Royersford; one son: Clifford K. Florence, of Austin, TX; two grandsons: Joshua and Jeremy Wilcox; and two great granddaughters: Kyla and Rylee Wilcox.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Friends will be received from 6:30-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweifford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074, or to an animal rescue charity of choice.
