Obituary

Kenneth D. Kline, age 88, husband of the late Elaine Rogers Kline, of Jeffersonville PA, Audubon PA, Lopez, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Landing of Collegeville. Born on April 30, 1932 in Harrisburg, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth K. and Isabel Osman Kline.

Mr. Kline was a graduate of Norristown High School, and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War at a base in Greenland. He worked as a pipefitter for Rogers Mechanical in Norristown until his retirement,1997. Shortly after "Pap-Pap" and "Mom-Mom" retired to their cabin, Camp Rainy Day, in Sullivan County for the next 20 years. Ken and Elaine thoroughly enjoyed life in the woods. Mr. Kline could be easily found either, working on his next project, hunting or fishing, bird watching(including bear-proofing the bird feeders), and tapping the sugar maples in the fall to make a batch of delicious Homemade Maple Syrup. Prior to his move to Sullivan County, he was an Elder of the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church. He was also an active and faithful member of the Redeemer Bible Church in Dushore, PA. Ken volunteered monthly at the Sullivan County Food Pantry, feeding one community at a time; where he would prepare and distribute large bags of food for all who came.

Mr. Kline is survived and forever loved by two children, Kenneth D. Jr., husband of the late Ruth O. Kline of Audubon, PA and Patricia K., wife of Robert McComsey of Oxford, PA; three grandchildren, Christopher D. Kline, husband of Laura Hricko, Gillian M., wife of Matthew Layton, and Hilary E., wife of Louis Kline III; two great-granddaughters, Frida Elaine Hricko Kline and Melody Ruth Layton; and one sister, Georgeanne, wife of James Minnicks.
