Kenneth Leo Sherman, age 78, husband of Laura M. (Mattis) Sherman, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Crofton, MD died suddenly on Thursday morning, June 3, 2010 in East Whiteland Township, PA. Born in Bedford, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph L. and May (Kaiser) Sherman. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Sherman was a graduate of the University of Richmond and received his Masters degree in business administration from Virginia Tech. Mr. Sherman worked as a banking regional manager for the Sun Trust Bank in the Washington D.C. area. He retired in 1995. He was an avid golfer. He was a former member of the Crofton Country Club, and more recently enjoyed playing the course in The Villages, Florida.

In addition ot his wife of 14 years, Mr. Sherman is survived by two sons; Kenneth Leo Sherman, Jr., husband of Kathryn E. (Lavin) Sherman, of Crofton, MD, Mark A., husband of Amy M. (McNamee) Sherman, six grandchildren; Marissa and Alex Sherman of Crofton, MD, Mark, Brad, Ross and Jeff Sherman, of West Chester, PA. Mr Sherman is also survived by the mother of his boys; Helen O. Sherman, of Hendersonville, NC.
