Kenneth L. Wise, age 66, husband of Luba Martyniak, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at home. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Irvin E. and Esther (Grealey) Wise.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by one daughter, Suzanna, wife of William Derer; three step-children, Theodore Root, Ronald Root, husband of Christina, and Robin, wife of Michael Dermigny; five step-grandchildren, Gannon Derer, Zack and Makayla Root and Nolan and Aaron Dermigny; four siblings, Christine, wife of the late John Favinger, Kathy, wife of Steve Krasley, David Wise, partner of Kathy Saville, and Sally, wife of Ian Mansmann; and six nieces and nephews, Rita, Lila, Dave Jr., Tim, Ben and Lilly.

Ken attended the Northern Chester County Technical High School with a focus in carpentry. Ken worked at Pierce and Stevens Chemical Corporation in Kimberton, PA for close to 30 years, as a maintenance technician. He worked for several years alongside his brother at Dave Wise Construction, and the last 15 years at St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church as the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ken loved to hunt, fish and camp. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed gardening of all kinds and loved working on his property and keeping it in meticulous shape. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, something he had in common with his late Mother, Esther. He was a lover of all animals, especially his pets, he had many over the years, but no one replaced his best pal, Blue. He was a member of the Kimberton Fish and Game Association.

Ken was a die-hard Philadelphia Sports Fan of the Phillies and the Eagles. He bled Eagles green - never missing a game and was able to watch "his" birds in the Super Bowl this year!
