Kevin McDonnell, age 68, husband of Terri R. (Franz) McDonnell of Phoenixville, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in his residence. Born on July 1, 1954 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Anne J. "Nancy" (Carey) and Valentine McDonnell.

A lifelong resident of Phoenixville, Kevin was a 1972 graduate of Phoenixville High School. He had been employed at Container Corporation of America, in Oaks and then as a court reporter at the Chester County Courthouse for many years until his retirement. He had also worked part-time as a mixologist at the VFW in Phoenixville.

Kevin was a member of the Valley Forge Fire Co. and a lifetime member of the West End Fire Co., where he loved playing in the Shuffleboard and Pool Leagues. He played Golf at Meadowbrook Golf Club and served as the recordkeeper for the league. Kevin loved cooking, especially grilling, but most importantly, he loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife of 45 years, Kevin is survived by his children: Patrick J. McDonnell and Leslie T. McDonnell; grandson: Dylan McDonnell; siblings: Barry (Carol) McDonnell, Kathy (George) Burns and Valerie McDonnell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service and time of sharing on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
