L. Kenneth Buzzard, 89, husband of Lillian A. (Kelemen) Buzzard, of Phoenixville, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Royersford, he was a son of the late Irvin and Emma (Wadsworth) Buzzard.

Mr. Buzzard was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. He was a member of the East Vincent United Church of Christ and the Kimberton Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed crafting and carpentry. An outdoorsman, Mr. Buzzard loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. Poppy, as he was affectionately known by his family, his pride and joy were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Buzzard is survived by two daughters, Beverly, wife of James McLean of Royersford, and Linda Lewis of Upland, CA, four grandchildren, Traci Straface, Todd Dudas, Jennifer Lewis, and Alyson Lewis, and three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Griffin, and Nina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the East Vincent United Church of Christ, 282 Hill Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475, on Monday, April 20, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Kate Davidheiser. Interment will follow in the East Vincent U.C.C. Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Church.
