Obituary

Lance L. Morien, 59, husband of Irene K. (Piehler) Morien, of Kimberton, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Batavia, NY, he was a son of Leon and Sophia (Zaremski) Morien, of Batavia, NY.

Mr. Morien was a 1967 graduate of Batavia High School and then received a B.S. in Biology from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was employed as Director of Global Biologies Supply Chain (GBSC) for Johnson & Johnson.

Mr. Morien was a member of St. Basil The Great R.C. Church, Trout Unlimited, and the Dame Juliana League, where he was a board member and secretary. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, basketball, and painting.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Mr. Morien is survived by two daughters, Chelsey Morien, of Tallahassee, FL, and Karlie A. Morien, of Kimberton, granddaughters, Isabella Grace and Haylie Rose Morien-Patterson, sister Linda Nalbach, of Batavia, NY, brother, Randy Morien, of Rochester, NY, nieces, Anna and Riley Morien, and nephews, Jay and Eric Nalbach.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Basil The Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA, on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert A. McLaughlin. Interment will follow in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard. Friends will be received from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the Church.
