LaVergne D. Clineff went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2025 at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Charles Walter Devine and Florence Billman Devine. She attended Ridley Township High School and transferred to Ambler High School when her family moved and graduated from there in 1948. Upon graduating from high school she was Administrative Assistant to the Director of the School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She attended Philadelphia College of the Bible and Penn State University.

After obtaining her license as a Realtor she worked in Chester County, the Poconos, and Manassas Virginia for over 20 years. Later she did Market Research for a non-political research firm. When her husband retired, they operated an antique and used book business for 12 years. She was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Quarryville, PA.

She is survived by her husband George W. of 65 years, sons David, married to Debbie, of Albemarle, NC; Jeffery, married to Elizabeth, of Douglasville, PA; Kevin, married to Robin, of New Castle, Delaware; a daughter Allison, married to Jessie Hubble, of Glen rock, PA; seven grandchildren; five Great-grandchildren and brothers Jerome Devine of Downingtown, PA and Leland Devine of Nottingham, PA. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Jeannine Marinellie and Cheryl Michener.
