Lavon (Sears) Clavette, age 74, wife of Donald R. Clavette, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in the Paoli Hospital. Born in Waycross, GA, she was a daughter of the late Clyde J. and Bernice D. (Strickland) Sears.

Lavon was a loving wife and mother, as well as a Nana to many children in the area over the years. She had a huge heart and always put others before herself. She loved being around her family, and she brought peace and a ray of sunshine everywhere she went. Not only will her care of others and her good spirit be missed, but so will her lovely sense of humor that could lighten up any conversation. She loved her rooster themed trinkets throughout the house, and she enjoyed spending time in her garden and in nature as much as she could.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, Lavon is survived by four children, Dennis Sears, Vinson Clavette, Angela Davidson, and Doria Andrews;five grandchildren, Cassondra, Blake, Ethan, Kaitlyn, and Maclin; a bonus granddaughter, Gabrielle; one great-granddaughter, Luna; and one sister, Ginger Yearicks. She was preceded in death by her loving Granny, Lessie Elise; and three siblings, Mary Evelyn Grimes, Lillian Sears, and Clyde Dwayne Sears.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Paul W. Thornhill. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home on Friday.
