Lawrence F. Parker, Sr., age 92, husband of the late Ruth L. (Epright) Parker, of Trooper, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born on October 17, 1928 in Norristown, he was a son of the late Kathryn (Tinney) and George Parker, Sr.

Larry was employed by Abbotts Dairy and Lehigh Valley Dairy during his working years until his retirement. Larry was a great handyman, a "Jack Of All Trades," who could fix anything and enjoyed tinkering with things in his spare time.

During summers, he liked spending extensive time caring for his fruit and vegetable garden. Larry was also a frequent visitor to Disney World, a place he enjoyed going to with his family. Larry loved going into the woods to find, cut and split wood for his wood stove.

He enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, dining out, and watching Penn State and Eagles Football. Larry was always on the go and nothing could keep him down.

Larry is survived by his children: Jill Lovecchio, of Jeffersonville, Donna, wife of Tom Stover, of Phoenixville and John, husband of Kathy Parker, of Audubon; ten grandchildren: Brian and David Lovecchio, Thomas, Stephen and Michael Stover, Lisa Saylor, Jaime Minnick, John Parker, Jr., and Scott and Patricia Parker; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Eleanor Foster, of Conshohocken, Madeline Butler, of NC and Kathryn Mateja, of Eagleville. In addition to his wife and parents, Larry was preceded in death by a brother: George Jr; a son: Lawrence Jr. (Husband of Renee Troxel-Parker); and a great-granddaughter: Kara Noelle.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Green Tree Cemetery, Oaks.
