Leona E. (Evert) Foster, age 80, wife of the late William A. Foster, of Pottstown, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA died Sunday morning, February 13, 2011 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Mr. Carmel, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clarence B. and Mildred M (Boyer) Evert. Mrs. Foster was a 1948 graduate of the Mt. Carmel Township High School. She worked for over 15 years at the Evening Phoenix Daily newspaper in Phoenixville. She was a very active member of the Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville.

Mrs. Foster is survived by three children; William C. "Bud", husband of Maria Foster, of S. Carolina, Leanne M., wife of Clayton Blank, of Schwenksville, PA, Lynette M., wife of Rev. Daniel F. Andrews, of Pottstown, PA, one sister; Joan Kline, one brother; Leo, husband of Barbara Evert, seventeen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foster was pre-deceased by three sons; David A., Mark B., Michael S Foster, one brother; Clarence Evert, one daughter-in-law; Deborah Foster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Friday evening, February 18, 2011 at 7:00PM. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel F. Andrews. Burial will be held privately in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, PA. Friends will be received from 5:00PM - 7:00PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
