Leonard R. Deiter, Sr., age 70, husband of Christine A. (Pavelco) Deiter, of Schwenksville, PA, formerly of Slatington, PA, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 in his home. He was born on March 21, 1946 in Catasauqua, PA. He was a graduate of Whitehall HIgh School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army for four years. Mr. Deiter worked as a Pennsylvania State Police Officer for over eight years. He then worked for several construction companies before starting his own construction business.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Deiter is survived by Two Sons, Leonard R., husband of Erin Deiter Jr., of Royersford, PA, Daniel L., husband of Molly Deiter of Slatington, PA; Brother, Thomas Deiter of Northampton, PA; Two Grandsons, Christopher G. Deiter, Tristan J. Deiter; Mr. Deiter was pre-deceased by Brother, Robert Deiter, Sisters, Diane Schlachter and Irene Martin.
