Leonard A. Roesler, 75, husband of the late Madeline W. (Dean) Bean Roesler, of Schwenksville, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in the Phoenixville Hospital.
Mr. Roesler served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Roy S. Leidy Post 203, American Legion, Schwenksville. He had worked at the Perkiomen Valley School District, VW of America, and at Highland Manor where he was very well known. Leonard attended Evansburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed camping at the "Berry Patch" in Honeybrook.
Mr. Roesler is survived by four daughters: Amanda wife of Paul Doud of Schwenksville, Beth Ann Roesler of Redwood Valley, CA, Cheryl wife of Raymond Rubeo of Trooper and Nancy wife of Robert Miller of Collegeville; three stepchildren: Mary wife of John Robinson of Zieglerville, JoAnn Bean-Butcher widow of the late George Butcher Jr. of Pottstown and Joseph husband of Sandra Bean of Spring City; sisters: Dolores VanBuskirk and Janis Kulp; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter: Barbara wife of Michael Russo of Wellsboro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Evansburg United Methodist Church, 3871 Germantown Pike, Evansburg, on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. David J. Frame officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Church. Interment will follow in the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
