Leota E. (Cassel) "Mom" Wampole, age 71, wife of the late Robert E. Wampole, of Pottstown, PA died early Wednesday morning, June 8, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Limerick, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary E. (Rummings) Cassel. She worked for many years at the J. E. Morgan Manufacturing Company in Gilbertsville.

Mrs. Wampole is survived by seven children; Walter (Jean) Wampole, Bernadine (Rodney) Stahl, Kenneth Wampole, Jr, Mary (Rick) Wickizer, Curtis (Brenda) Wampole, Eugene (Sherry) Wampole, Raymond (Kimberly) Wampole, 3 siblings; Robert, Wesley, James Cassel, 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wampole is pre-deceased by 3 siblings; Rosalie Dengler, Gladys Wampole, Walter Cassel, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday morning, June 14, 2011 at 10:30AM. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
