Obituary

Lewis S. Peck, age 87, husband of E. Arline (Geiger) Peck, of Parker Ford, PA passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Lionville Station, PA, he was a son of the late Granville H. and Mary A. (Walley) Peck.

Mr. Peck served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a paratrooper with the 101st, 82nd, and 17th airborne divisions. He attended Parker Ford Baptist Church. Mr. Peck worked as a sheet metal mechanic for Williard Sheet Metal Co. in Philadelphia and Jenkintown, and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #19. He was a member of the American Legion, and enjoyed to hunt and fish.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Peck is survived by one daughter, Gail M. Peck of Parker Ford; son-in-law Dennis J. Schwartz of East Coventry; three grandchildren Adam, Elizabeth, and Benjamin; one great-granddaughter Samantha Kay; and seven nieces and nephews. Mr. Peck was predeceased by two children, Kay A. Schwartz and Robert L. Peck, and two brothers, Earl and James Peck.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19460 on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Jon Kline. Burial will follow in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Parker Ford Baptist Church, 92 Baptist Church Road, P.O. Box 197, Parker Ford, PA 19457.
