Lewis Norman Seeders, age 61, husband of Patricia E. (Stephens) Seeders, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Born on June 2, 1955 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of Ruth (Leyrer) Seeders of Pottstown and the late Norman Seeders.
Lewis attended the Center for Arts and Technology - Pickering in Phoenixville. He formerly worked for Allan A. Myers Concrete in Great Valley, and currently was employed as a driver for Rapid Recycling in Oaks, PA. A true family man, Lewis enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was a member of the Valley Forge Chapter of the Star Touring and Riding Club. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar, and volunteered as the sound technician for the Pottstown Relay for Life for the past 13 years. He also enjoyed boating and fishing.
In addition to his wife and mother, Lewis is survived by two daughters, Tricia E., wife of Michael DeFrancisco of Exeter, PA, and Brandee L., wife of Stephen E. Weiss of Boyertown, PA; four grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Daniel, and Joshua; and one half-brother, Bob Seeders of Lewes, DE. Lewis was preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis W. Leyrer and one half-sister, Cookie Reddick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Pughtown Baptist Church, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, PA on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Samuel L. Geiger. Burial will be held in the Pughtown Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA or on Friday morning from 10:00 am - 11:00 AM at the Church.
