Lillian E. Barker, age 72, wife of Charles Gary Barker of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in the Paoli Hospital. Born on June 7, 1950 in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Kalman and Elizabeth (Kovacs) Dudas.
Lillian was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. She received her BSN from Bryn Mawr Nursing School, and she attended Villanova University, Immaculata University, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, performed in-home dialysis, and was a school nurse for East Pikeland Elementary School and Phoenixville High School. Before retirement she was a case management nurse at Phoenixville Hospital.
Lillian was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Phoenixville, where she assisted with Vacation Bible School. She offered her nursing services as a volunteer for many community events, including church functions, summer camps, bible camps.
In addition to her husband, Lillian is survived by four children, Jesse Carey, Paul Carey, Leah Carey, and Amber Carey; and ten grandchildren, Everett, Dawkin, Jayden, Alex, Wyatt, Mea, Peyton, Declan, Prudence, and Julius.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 355 Saint John's Circle, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
