Lillian M. Bechtel, age 94, wife of the late Donald Bechtel, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Mary Agnes (Holden) and John Bowman.

Lillian was a graduate of Roxborough High School and lived in Skippack and Upper Providence for most of her life. She was a National AARP member and Spring Ford Board Member, and a member of Goodrich retirees club. She painted and did crafts. An Avid gardener and bird watcher. She enjoyed camping, going to church, reading her Bible and would always share a prayer. Christmas and summer picnics were always a Big hit. She always enjoyed sitting on the porch, drinking her coffee.

She is survived by her four children Kenneth Seewagen, Priscilla (Seewagen) Rau, wife of Richard Rau, Clifton Seewagen, husband of Judy, Patricia (Seewagen) Schwartz, wife of John Schwartz, three Step-Children, Donald Bechtel, Robert Bechtel, Debra (Bechtel) Weikel, wife of Raymond Weikel, her two siblings, Nettie Algeo, George Bowman and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband Donald Bechtel, two step children Dennis Bechtel, Herbert Bechtel, her parents John and Mary Bowman, and her five siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Leah Woehr-Grande. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home.
