Obituary

Lillian M. (Dawe) Miller, 93, wife of the late Jacob T. Miller, of Royersford, formerly Pottstown, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on October 3, 1926 in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lucy (Lyndon) Dawe. She is predeceased by her sister Gladys (Dawe) Murray.

Mrs. Miller had been employed at Superior Tube in Spring City and then for many years as a cashier at East Coventry Elementary School; she retired in 1981 to enjoy her grandchildren and to help when needed. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and attending the grandchildren's sporting events with her husband Jake, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords and wordsearch books, and had been a member of Parkerford Baptist Church for 68 years. For the last two and a half years, Lillian resided at Parkhouse, where she was lovingly cared for by the nurses and staff in the West Wing and was a friend to everyone.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughters: Linda Gottshall, of Pottstown, Deborah, wife of Wray Brewer, of Collegeville and Vickie, wife of George Wampler, of Kutztown; grandchildren: Karen Medaglia, Lori Rubendall, Charles Kinzinger, husband of Kelly (McQuade) Kinzinger, Jeremy Wampler, husband of Anna (Jones) Wampler and Jarod, husband of Jennifer (Sutjak) Wampler; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Tyler and Shane Kinzinger, Nathaniel, Grace, Nolan and Morgan Wampler, and Chris and Matthew Rubendall; and great-great-grandson: Branson Rubendall; and she was also known as Grandma Lillian to Beth Stoeckl, and her children Griffin, Payton, Karson and Kane Stoeckl. She is also survived by niece Kathleen (Murray) Horenci, and nephew Kenneth Murray.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lillian's name to the Parkerford Baptist Church, 92 Baptist Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475 or to the Parkhouse Auxiliary, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468.
