Linda Marie Ottey, age 63, of Bevans Orchard passed away suddenly at her residence. Born October 30, 1960 in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond N. Ottey and Barbara Ottey Spangler and sister of the late Bruce R. Ottey.
Linda worked in the Montgomery County Health Department as an Office Support Person until her retirement. She volunteered her time at Kimberton Fire Company on the donut committee. She also was a dedicated NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Linda's lifelong passion was for the water. In her youth she could be found camping and boating with her family on the Chesapeake Bay or sunbathing at the shore. In her later years she found a love for cruising and visiting Florida.
Linda is survived by her sister, Carol (Charles) Krzywanski of Sanatoga: nieces, Jennifer (Mark) Pervoznik of Hamburg, PA, Ashley (David) Dykes of Groveland, Florida: nephew Thomas (Kimberly Perez) Krzywanski of Pottstown, and her great nephews and nieces, Tre', Connor, Madison, DJ and Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond N. Ottey and mother, Barbara Ottey Spangler, brother, Bruce R. Ottey, feline companion Boots and canine companion Mabel.
At Linda's request she will be honored in a private ash spreading ceremony.
In remembrance of Linda's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
