Linda Joy Walker, age 71, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in the Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 1, 1949 she was a daughter of the late Roy and Thelma Murray.
Linda was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, class of 1967, where she was a proud member of the Owen J. Roberts Marching Unit. She would later go on to acquire a job with Bell Telephone where she would work until the late 90's. Linda was a dedicated member of the Coventry Church Of The Brethren in Kenilworth, PA. Linda was an accomplished baker and also had a passion for cooking. She loved animals and had many dogs and cats throughout her years. She enjoyed her trips to the Amish country and visiting the local craft shops; but her greatest passion was flowers. Linda loved gardening, and attended as many flower shows as she could. She also entered her own floral arrangements into local shows, winning numerous awards.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Laura Bourdreau, and Jennifer Walker; Two sisters, Nancy High, and Barbara Sherlock; Four grandchildren, Dylan, Gabrielle, Natalie, and Daniel Bourdreau; She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great‐nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Seto.
The burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Saint Peters, Pennsylvania. A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be announced at a later date.
