Obituary

Linda Ann Watson, 76, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in The Phoenix Center For Rehabilitation and Nursing, Phoenixville. Born on October 3, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Reese) and Earl Watson.

While attending Abington Senior High School, Class of 1960, Linda was an outstanding basketball player. She was a graduate of Penn State University - Bachelor of Arts 1964 and received her Masters Degree in Art History from Penn State University in 1966. She had been employed as Curator of the Richmond Museum of Fine Arts in the late 60's and early 70's.

Linda enjoyed creative cooking, knitting and antiquing, loved music, arts and theater, and was a voracious reader. She loved the Philadelphia and Pottstown areas, but the highlight of her life was the trip she took to Greece cruising the Aegean Sea and learning about Greek culture. She was proud of a genealogy study she started with her mother following her family's lineage from Wales.

Linda is survived by her sister: Nancy E. Watson Coy, of Madison, AL; brother: David E. Watson, of Florida/Colorado; nephews and nieces: Michael Watson, Jennifer Watson, and Jeffrey Coy with his wife Kristen, and their sons: Evan and Preston and Leslie (Coy) Gramke, her husband Keith Gramke, and their daughter: Margaret Gramke.

Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
