Linwood R. Belch, 76, husband of Marilyn A. (Swier) Belch, of Kimberton, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Colerain, NC, he was a son of the late William Hunter and Anne (Clary) Belch.

Mr. Belch was a 1951 graduate of Mars Hill High School, Bertie County, NC. He served in the United States Army, during the Korean War. A member of Grace Bible Church, he served the Lord as an Elder, former Treasurer and former song leader.

Mr. Belch was employed as a production manager in the micro coax section of Uniform Tube in Trappe. He was also the owner of the former Lin's Archery Center in Kimberton for 16 years and won several shoots in archery contest. An outdoorsman, Lin also loved woodworking, fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Phillies and Eagles.

In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, Mr. Belch is survived by two brothers Leroy Belch, of Colerain, NC and Marvin, husband of JoAnn Belch, of Lytle, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Grace Bible Church, 777 Starr Street, Phoenixville, on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Louis G. Dubost Jr. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. Friends will be received from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the Church.
