Lois M. (Vittum) Tuerke, 76, widow of Theodore Tuerke, of Limerick, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.? She was born on March 31, 1932 in Lochmere, NH.?
Mrs. Tuerke was a loyal, active, and beloved member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Pottstown, where she became friends with Pastor Jim Spears and his wife Kathy, to whom she looked for spiritual guidance. ?She was a great friend, caregiver for her neighbors, had a love for children, and enjoyed reading and music.? She is and always be an inspiration and prayer warrior for her family.
Mrs. Tuerke is survived by six children, Carl Robie of Arizona, Richard Robie of Pottstown, Cindy McCann of Oklahoma City, OK, Alan Robie of Royersford, Thelo Thomas of Reading, and Suzanna Matthews, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Calvary Baptist Church, 2096 East Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465, on Friday, November 28, 2008, at 11:00 AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. James L. Spears.? Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.? Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Church.?
