Obituary

Louis J. Magyar, 90, loving husband of the late Pearl A. (Suloman) Magyar, of Spring City, passed away peacefully at the South Eastern Veterans Center on Wednesday February 3, 2021. Louis was born in Phoenixville on June 8, 1930, he was a son of the late Joseph & Helen Magyar.

Louis was a student of the Phoenixville school district and would later be called to active duty in the United States Navy where he would serve his country proudly for many years until he was honorably discharged. Louis was later employed by Diamond Glass and would work there until his retirement. Mr. Magyar was also a handyman and you would always find him in his garage trying to repair his items. Louis was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies whenever he had the opportunity. He was also involved in many community organizations in his earlier years such as being a member of the Limerick Fire Company. But most of all he enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his loving wife, and you would never find them out without one another. Louis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to all and he will be missed by many.

Louis is survived by his daughter Gail Butler, wife of David; One son-in-law, Everett Rarich, husband of the late Judy Rarich; Two sisters, Isabel Matty, and Mary Miller; And two loving grandsons, Jason and Wesley Rarich; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Louis at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford PA, on Wednesday February 10, 2021 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM. Services will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Frances Chester. Burial will take place in the New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery following the services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the South Eastern Veterans Center, 1 Veterans Dr. Spring City PA 19475. Condolences may be made by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
