Obituary

Louise A. Gryscavage, age 95, wife of the late Vincent M. Gryscavage, Sr. of Royersford, PA, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 in the Paoli Hospital, Paoli, PA. Louise was born on June 7, 1930 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Salvi.

Mrs. Gryscavage graduated from the St. Nicholas Parish School in Wilkes-Barre prior to furthering her education in business school. Upon completion of business school, she began her career as an administrative secretary working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). She transferred to The Auto Lift in Wilkes-Barre, serving in the capacity as the company's business manager.

Once married, she and Vincent relocated to Binghamton, NY, where she worked as the unit secretary of the ICU at Lourdes Hospital. As she began her family, Mrs. Gryscavage became a homemaker, tending to her family, children and home. As the children grew, the family relocated back to Pennsylvania, and she became the head teller at Military Supply Federal Credit Union in Philadelphia, where she would eventually retire from.

Mrs. Gryscavage was an avid reader and she loved to cook, dance and travel. She bowled in several leagues and was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially having fun weekend card games with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing slots at the casinos both earlier and later in life. She enjoyed placing weekly wagers on the Eagles games with her sons. Most importantly, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved and facilitated family get-togethers; Sunday dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, and especially holidays, always keeping up the time honored traditions passed down.

Mrs. Gryscavage is survived by two sons, Vincent Gryscavage, Jr. and Anthony Gryscavage, Sr., husband of Christine Gryscavage; son-in-law, Subash Reddy, M.D., husband of the late Anne (Gryscavage) Reddy; six grandchildren, Vincent Gryscavage, III (Kara), Jordan Gryscavage, Sophia Gryscavage, Anthony Gryscavage, Jr. (Katelyn), Justine Franko (Luke), and Brian Gryscavage (Melissa); four great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Jerry Crawley; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and daughter, Mrs. Gryscavage was preceded in death by six of her siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Walnut Street at Lewis Road, Royersford, PA on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received on Friday morning from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA.
