Louise M. (Thornton) Gable, 69, of Phoenixville passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was the wife of the late Douglas C. Gable Sr. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (Mason) Thornton.

Along with her husband, Louise owned Gable’s Flower Shop located in Phoenixville, Pottstown and Boyertown for 26 years. After the death of her husband, she had been employed as an attendant at Lukoil in Limerick. Louise was also a life member of the Kimberton Fire Company Auxiliary.

She is survived by her four children, Louise M., wife of Alfred Kritzberger, of Phoenixville, Douglas C. Jr., husband of Tricia Gable, of Phoenixville, Robert C. Gable, of Phoenixville and James Gable, of Phoenixville; Seven grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Cody, Samantha, April and Courtney Gable and Lindsey Kritzberger. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elinor Toth and Doris Emery.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, October 13, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph A. Heim. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 8:30-11:00 am.
