Lucia (DeViti) DiOstilio, age 91, wife of the late Louis J. DiOstilio, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Folsom, PA, died Saturday afternoon, July 10, 2010 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppi and Bernadina (Carrafa) DeViti. Mrs. DiOstilio was raised in Venarotta, Italy and returned to America in 1953. Lucia was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church for almost 50 years, and recently attended Valley View Church. Lucia loved life to its fullest and was known for her bright smile. She enjoyed cooking homemade Italian meals, sewing, and gardening the beautiful flowers of God's creation. Lucia enjoyed her time at the Phoenixville Senior Center. Lucia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother all of her life. Her family and friends were the most important things to her, and she cherished the time she had with them.



Mrs. DiOstilio is survived by three children; Angela D., wife of Richard Ng, of Phoenixville, James L., husband of Martina DiOstilio, of Wallingford, PA, Thomas R., husband of Jeanette DiOstilio, of Folsom, PA, three siblings; Rigo DeViti, Gina Meloro, Rosina Cardinelli, and the late Luigi, Maria, Gioconda, Primo, and Ottavio, eleven grandchildren: Christina, Deanna, Michael, Laura, and Stephen Ng; Anthony DiOstilio; Julie Nwadiora and Lee Gaffney; Nicole, Andrew, and Christopher DiOstilio, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. DiOstilio was pre-deceased by one son; John F, husband of Jane DiOstilio,, and one grandson; John Thomas DiOstilio, both of Collingdale.



Relatives and friends are will be received Wednesday evening, July 14 from 7:00-8:00pm at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. They are also invited to call at the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 17, from 9:00-10:00am. A Christian service begins at 10:00 AM followed by the Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
