M. Charles "Chuck" O'Donnell, age 92, beloved husband of the late Phyllis O'Donnell passed away peacefully on Monday October 14, 2024 in Pottstown hospital surrounded by his family. Born on December 13, 1931 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley O'Donnell and the late Marion, wife of Joseph Garris. He was the brother of Stan and Jimmy, who preceded him in death.

He served his country in the Air Force for 4 years in Korea and Japan, where he learned Air Traffic Control. He became an air traffic controller in civilian life and made that his career for more than 30 years before retiring.

Always known as "Chuck" to his friends and family, he was always a jovial guy who loved to play cards and was loved by everyone who met him. In later years he faced Alzheimers Dementia but never lost his good humor. As he said frequently, everything was adorable, precious, outstanding and mild. If you asked him if he needed anything, he would inevitably answer, "Money".

He is survived by his son Glenn C. O'Donnell, husband of Renee O'Donnell of East Coventry; daughter Colleen Spencer, wife of Robin Spencer of Gibsonia, PA; three granddaughters: Lauren, wife of Jeremy DeBerry; Susan, wife of Wyatt Gunst; Elizabeth, wife of Dante Fiorino and 8 great grandchildren; and a brother Paul O'Donnell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Green Tree Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Oaks, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Satuday from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
