Madeline W. (Dean) Bean Roesler, 88, wife of Leonard A. Roesler, of Schwenksville and the late Joseph N. Bean and Anthony Rogers, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Schuylkill Twp., Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Umstead) Dean.
A member of the Evansburg United Methodist Church, she was involved in many activities for many years. She enjoyed many family and friends, camping at the "Berry Patch," visiting the Chester and Lancaster Counties, and was a member of the Tuesday Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Mary wife of John Robinson, of Zieglerville, Barbara wife of Michael Russo, of Wellsboro, and JoAnn Bean-Butcher, widow of George Butcher Jr., of Pottstown; one son: Joseph husband of Sandra Bean, of Spring City; four step children; the grandchildren: Cynthia wife of John Bolt, John husband of Brianna Robinson, Linda Bunty, Michael husband of Kelly Robinson, Russell Gould, Joseph husband of Mary Wolf, Ryan husband of Lauryn Gould, Joseph husband of Cheryl Bean, Paul husband of Tara Russo, Michelle Russo, and Joseph husband of Melissa Butcher; sixteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Jason Bean; brothers: Shaner and Harry Dean; and sisters: Mary Levengood and Betty Rossi.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Evansburg United Methodist Church, 3871 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Her funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. David J. Frame officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Eagleville.
