Margaret (Stroman) Eisenhauer, 75, wife of Elwood C. Eisenhauer, Sr., of Pottstown, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2009, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Gable) Stroman.

Mrs. Eisenhauer was a 1952 graduate of Phoenixville High School. She was employed at the Valley Forge Army Hospital from 1969 until its closing and then was employed as a seamstress for the former Kimberton Company in Phoenixville until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, reading, spending time with her family, loved day trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, and was an avid Eagles fan.

In addition to her loving husband of 54 years, Mrs. Eisenhauer is survived by her daughter, Sandy Eisenhauer, of Pottstown, son, Elwood C. Eisenhauer, Jr., husband of Cindy (Boettger) of North Coventry, granddaughters, Kimberly Lynn, of Lemoyne and Kristy Lynn, of North Coventry, sisters Kathryn "Kate," wife of the late Terry Hughes, of Phoenixville and Nancy, wife of Raymond Carl, of Marietta, GA, brother Marvin, husband of Nannette Stroman, of Royersford, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by twin brothers, Warren and Thomas Stroman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. David C. McCabe. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City. Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m., and from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.
