Margaret M. (Cockerham) Fox, 87, of Royersford, wife of the late George W. Fox Sr., passed away peacefully on April 20, 2019 at the Season Hospice in Phoenixville surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 31, 1931 in Chaddsford PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Edward & Jenny (Harrison) Cockerham.

Margaret was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and would later go on to start her career at Philco Ford in Spring City. After her time there she worked many years for Spring City Knitting, Spring Ford School District in the cafeteria, and Burger King in Spring City. In her spare time she loved to travel to the beach with her husband and and attended church events, they were both dedicated parishioners of the Green Tree Church and were also involved in many church organizations. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to all and she will be missed by many.

Margaret is survived by her two loving children, George Fox of Royersford, and Sally Smith of Florida; She is also survived by one great-granddaughter Brittany Knight.

In addition to her parents and husband George, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, McKinley, William, McCoy, Gilbert, and Lincoln Cockerham; she was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Cockerham Smith.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Margaret on Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 9:30AM - 10:45AM at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Rd. Phoenixville PA 19460. The funeral ceremony will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will follow in the Green Tree Cemetery.
