Margaret J. Garwood, age 76, Wife of the late Alfred H. Garwood of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024. She was born on November 29, 1947, in Little Rock, AR. She was the Daughter of Helen (Winchester) and Elmer Vaughan. Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

Margret was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville, and retired after 36 years at Phoenixville Hospital as a switchboard operator. Her commitment to her work and compassionate nature made her a beloved member of the hospital community. She enjoyed crocheting and loved her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her children, Erin (Joe) Tihansky, Jessica (Scott) Dengler, Tom (Lindsay) Garwood, 4 Step-Children, 19 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred H. Garwood, her parents Elmer and Helen (Winchester) Vaughan, her brothers Dan Vaughan, Rick Vaughan, Dave Vaughan, and her Grandson Paul Hunter.
