Margaret (Duffy) Haines, age 88, wife of the late Gerald N. Haines, of Audubon, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Born on April 28, 1935 in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret (Mitchell) Duffy.

Mrs. Haines was a graduate of St. Katharine of Siena School in Wayne, PA. She was still in contact with friends from High School. Mrs. Haines focused much of her attention on her family and her home. Years ago, she had a part-time job as a gift wrapper at Macy's and she still enjoyed shopping there.

Mrs. Haines was a faithful and longtime member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She looked forward to her yearly family trips to Avalon, NJ, which eventually grew to include her beloved grandchildren. She was a talented artist focusing on drawing and watercolor painting. She was an avid gardener, and was proud of her Irish heritage. Mrs. Haines also enjoyed reading and crafting with her granddaughters. One year they all made matching shirts to wear Down the Shore. She always liked to put her personal touch on gifts and cards.

Mrs. Haines is survived by two daughters, Geralyn, wife of James Walt of Phoenixville, PA and Melissa, wife of Benje Crigamire of Collegeville, PA; five granddaughters, Brooke Haines, Julianne (Andrew) Jentgens, Leah Crigamire (Luke Leister), Bridget Walt, and Meghan Crigamire; and her great-grandchildren, Tyson and Ryder Gomez, Evelyn Leister, and one great-grandson on the way which she was so excited for. She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Patrick Haines and one brother, Jack Duffy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2330 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Friends will be received from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM at the Church Friday morning.
