Obituary

Margaret J. (Schuck) Isanski, wife of the late Thomas A. Isanski, of Phoenixville, PA died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was a daughter of the late George and Cecilia Schuck.

Mrs. Isanski graduated high school in Shamokin. She was a devout member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Phoenixville. She enjoyed cooking large family dinners on Sundays, as well as socializing with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Isanski was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed writing cards for all occasions, and loved to travel. She was a resident of Third Avenue in Phoenixville for over 50 years. She worked for Valley Maid, and then retired from both the West Company and Schuylkill Elementary school as a cafeteria aide.

Mrs. Isanski is survived by five sons, David J., husband of Cathy, Mark T., Thom G., husband of Laurey, Paul, husband of Sallie, and Stephen Isanski; two daughters, Barbara A. Isanski and Lynne M. Casmay; three sisters, Alice Broscius, Sr. Cecilia Boniface, and Betty Lukonis; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Matthew L. Isanski, five brothers, and one sister.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Third Avenue at Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will follow in the St. Ann's Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00-10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, In memory of Margaret Isanski, 502 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
