Margaret E. Pascale, age 88, wife of the late, Paul H. Pascale Jr. of Royersford, PA, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 15, 1934 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Bertram L. and Mildred L. (Stagg) Compton.
Mrs. Pascale was a 1952 graduate of Lower Camden County Regional High School in Lindenwold, NJ. While her husband was in the military, she traveled with him, caring for the family and working her part time businesses. She spent two tours in Hawaii, one in North Carolina and one in Texas before settling in Pennsylvania. As her children grew more independent, she worked as an assembly technician at American Machine and Tool Company in Royersford.
Mrs. Pascale was a faithful member of the Royersford Baptist Church. She volunteered her time for the Red Cross, her church, and the Project Outreach Royersford Food Pantry. She had a giving spirit and looked forward to helping others in any way she could.
Before her husband's passing, she loved to spend time at their home in Ocean View, DE on the Indian River Bay, where she enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing, clamming, and preparing all the fresh catch for family and friends. While walking the beaches, she loved searching for beautiful seashells. More recently, she enjoyed walking, exercising, and her daily trips to the Spring Valley YMCA. She was an avid reader, gardener and birdwatcher, oftentimes feeding the birds, squirrels, and rabbits, which she considered her pets. She could easily spot 4-leaf clovers while out in the garden or walking about town. She was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Not only did she love Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and the rest of the Crooners, but she loved live music, attending concerts and dinner theater performances. When not watching sports or attending musical events, Peg enjoyed watching Family Feud and doing word search puzzles. She loved dining out, enjoying her food, and reporting that every meal was "DELICIOUS "!
Mrs. Pascale is survived by four children, Linda Hurst, Paul K. Pascale, his companion, Helene Levitt, Diana Gionet, and Laurie Roles, wife of Ralph Roles; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren; her beloved brother, Bertram Compton; beloved brother-in-law Chuck Pascale and his wife Clara, many nieces, nephews and their families; and a forever daughter-in-law, Robyn Pascale.
