Margaret A. Ross, age 84, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her residence, Spring Mill Senior Living. Born on October 18, 1936 in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of George and Ruth (Libby) Ross.

Margaret spent 15 years in California prior to moving to Maine, where she had been employed as Director of Nursing at Central Maine Medical Center, in Lewiston. She had also been employed as Director of Human Resources for Medicare in Maine, prior to her move to Pennsylvania.

While in Maine, Margaret volunteered and was heavily involved with public broadcasting and public television. In her retirement, utilizing her expertise in Medicare, Margaret helped many people register with Medicare. She was recognized as Apprise's Volunteer of the Year for her efforts.

Margaret enjoyed the yearly two week family get-together reunions every August at her cabin on Lake Maranacook, in Maine.

Margaret is survived by her brother, William E. Ross of Phoenixville, PA; nephews: Lawrence Ross (Diane) of Wyomissing, PA and Michael Ross (Susan) of Limerick, PA; niece, Elizabeth Meissner (Steven) of N. Easton, MA; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth (Libby) Ross; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Ross; and longtime companion, Norman Chabot.
