Margaret T. (Fisher) Schwab, 94, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday April 7, 2022. Born on June 19, 1927 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. Fisher and Ethel D. (Reeves) Fisher. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph D. Schwab, Sr. Margaret was also preceded in death by her children; Bernadette Clark and Paul Schwab.
She is survived by her children; Danielle O’Connell, wife of Edward, of Wyomissing, Joseph Schwab, Jr., husband of Marianne, of Langhorne, her son-in-law; Thomas Clark, daughter-in-law; Maria Schwab, 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was an active member of St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church, where she was involved in church ministries including Treasurer of the Golden Greats. She was a graduate of Hallahan Girls Catholic High School. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper in commercial property management. In her free time, she loved cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed reading. Margaret was an avid Scrabble player and a talented seamstress. Her favorite activity was spending time with family, especially taking her grandchildren on outings to museums and shows.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, Phoenixville, from 10am-11am on Monday, April 18, 2022. Mass will begin at 11am. Burial will immediately follow the service in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to: Bayada Hospice, 1 West Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512."
