Obituary

Marguerite G. (Garrett) Moore, age 87, wife of the late J. "Ralph" Moore, Sr., of Phoenixville, PA died Saturday morning, June 26, 2010 in her home. Born in Elkton, MD, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hester (Dickerson) Garrett. She was a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She was a proud veteran of World War II. She was a nurse for the U.S. Army. She worked for the Northern Chester County Community Visiting Nurses Service. Mrs. Moore was a long term member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She served on many committees at the Church through the years.

Mrs. Moore is survived by two children; J. "Ralph" Moore, Jr., husband of Denise (Simpler) Moore, of Phoenixville, Connie E. Moore, of Phoenixville, five grandchildren; Christine Bartzer, Tara Borelly, Cassandra Borelly, Kathryn Borelly, and Brandon Moore. Mrs. Moore was pre-deceased by one daughter; Marguerite Georgeson and three brothers; Harold, John and Ralph Garrett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville,. PA 19460 on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Cynthia L. Krommes. Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30-10:45AM Wednesday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the "Moore family children's fund", P.O. Box 175, Phoenixville, PA 19460. The Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
