Marian Frances Stierly, 82, of Elverson, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center . She was the wife of the late Robert H. Stierly, who died February 24, 2013. They were married for sixty-two years.

She was born in Spring City, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Raymond and Ida Rose (Conway) Ottinger. She attended Spring City High School. She was employed for thirty-two years in food service at Owen J. Roberts School District. First, for two years at East Coventry Elementary and then thirty years as cafeteria manager of French Creek Elementary before retiring. She loved all her kids who came through "her line."

Mrs. Stierly was a member of Brownback's United Church of Christ and Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances A., wife of David Fox of Morgantown; son, Robert P., husband of Kathy Stierly of Morgantown; grandsons: Jason and Justin Fox, Michael Stierly; and great-granddaughters: Taylor and Reagan Fox. She was also predeceased by siblings: Wilmer, James, Elwood and Mary Moyer.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, Pennsylvania. Officiating will be Rev. Raymond J. Jachowski. Friends will be received from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the church at the above address.
