Marianne D. Hammel, 54, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away suddenly at her home on September 25, She was a daughter of the late Horace E. and Pearl V. (Ahlum) Hammel.
Marianne was a 1973 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and was last employed as a sales associate for Boscov's and Walmart. She also volunteered her time working the polls in Lower Pottsgrove on Election Day.

She is survived by a daughter Linda D. Auger and her husband Michael, of Warwick, R.I.; three grandchildren: Jhonathan, Amanda and Katrina and a brother Gerald E. Hammel and his wife Alice of Linfield. She was also .preceded in death by a sister Virginia Beckwith and a brother H. Andrew Hammel.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1 PM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA.
