Marie (High) Malenke, 95, wife of Parker F. Malenke, of Parker Ford, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in Manatawny Manor, East Coventry. Born on May 3, 1924 in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Earl F. and Sarah K. (Shoemaker) High.

Marie was a wonderful mother who loved doing activities with her children and grandchildren.
As a homemaker Marie was hospitable and enjoyed inviting people over for meals. Along with her husband she loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hiking.

Marie loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and her love for the Lord resulted in serving Him in various ways. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pottstown, and previously a member of Limerick Chapel where she taught Sunday school and worked with Pioneer Girls. She also taught children's Bible Clubs for 45 years.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Malenke is survived by her children: Donna G., wife of Larry Seelig, of Tomball, TX, Sally A. Malenke, of Ecuador and N. Todd, husband of Patti Malenke, of Fresno, OH; daughter-in-law: Faith Malenke-Kaylor, of Uniontown, PA; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Bruce R. Malenke; grandson: Joshua Malenke; and siblings: Evelyn Nyman and E. Kent High.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Limerick Chapel, 378 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Joshua Farr. Interment will follow in the East Coventry Mennonite Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to Calvary Baptist Church of Pottstown Missions Fund, 2096 New Schuylkill Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465.
