Marlyn G. Carlson, 79, husband of Norma F. (Hooton) Carlson, of Phoenixville, PA, died Friday evening, December 9, 2016 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born on December 23, 1936 in Wausa, NE, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Mildred (Nelson) Carlson. Mr. Carlson worked as an accountant for the Bendix Corporation for over 35 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Marlyn is survived by daughter, Gail (Gustavo) Landazuri; son, Neil (Mary Hopper) Carlson; and two grandsons, Michael and Paul Landazuri.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, 145 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Inurnment will be held privately in the Phoenixville Columbarium Garden, 355 St. John’s Circle, Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, Stained Glass Window Restoration Fund at the above address.
