Martha Anne Williams Hutchins, Born January 09, 1925 in Carthage, North Carolina passed away April 20, 2024 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Martha was preceded in death by her Father, Clinton Williams and her Mother, Gladys Snell Williams, Martha is survived by three (3) children, Andrew J. Hutchins, of Martenez, GA, Joy A. Dellapenna, of Malvern, PA and Laura Beth Lozorak, of Pottstown, PA. Three (4) grandchildren, Casey E. Dellapenna, of Weston, FL, Caribeth H. Lozorak, of Douglassville, PA, Gia Dellapenna of Malvern, PA, Barbara Hutchins-Lacombe, of Augusta, GA. and five (5) great grandchildren, Bryanna M. Tuturice, of Douglassville, PA. Stephen Michael Brauner, of Douglassville, PA, Elizabeth J. Dellapenna, of Weston, FL. Breck Lacombe, of Augusta, GA, Stella Lacombe, of Augusta, GA.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Chaplain, Col. Gordon E. Hutchins, USA RET. whom she shared 62 years of marriage with, she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Hubert "Hoot" Williams, Clinton Williams, Leonard Williams, Betty Williams LaFountain and Phyliss "Phee" Williams Elliot. Also by many nieces and nephews.

Martha passed quietly in her home in Phoenixville, surrounded by her long time care giver and loving Granddaughter, Caribeth H. Lozorak and her eldest Daughter , her "Joy", Joy Ann Dellapenna. Martha was born in Carthage, NC. Martha lived in Proctor, VT. where she attended Elementary School, then her family moved to Brandon, VT. where she graduated from Brandon High School. Martha Williams, married the love of her life Gordon Edward Hutchins in August, the year of 1943. They started their lives together in Fort Sheridan, IL. Gordon joined the US Army after attending Gordon College, and served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. While Gordon was away, Martha stayed in Brandon, VT. When Gordon returned Martha started her life as a devoted and loving Army Chaplains Wife. They moved frequently in the United States and Europe. While Gordon was in Vietnam, Martha and her children lived in Cornwall, West Vermont. The family spent many summers at Lake Dunmore with family and friends.

Gordon retired in 1973, in Fort Dix, NJ, both Gordon and Martha lived in Phoenixville, PA until both of their passing.

Martha was a loving wife and Mother, she was the glue that held our family together. While Gordon was a way at was, Marthat found herself alone with three children, however, all the while she remained a woman of grace and unwavering courage. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Martha, "Myrtle", as Gordon used to so fondly call her, will be laid to rest at Limerick Garden of Memories next to her ever loving husband. Interment services will be held at the convenience of the family.
