Mary Ann Shaner, age 77, wife of Carl D. Shaner, and the late Harry "Jack" McIntyre, of Douglassville, PA, died Friday, October 14, 2016 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 20, 1939 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Stuart) Matthews. Mrs. Shaner worked as a seamstress at Dettra Flag Company in Oaks, PA. In later years she worked as a Switchboard Operator for Montgomery County Geriatric Center, Upper Providence Township, PA. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oaks, PA. She enjoyed poetry and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband with whom she spent the last 30 years with, Mrs. Shaner is survived by Daughter, Karen H., wife of Peter Dieciedue of Phoenixville, PA; Four Sons, Richard H., husband of Lisa McIntyre of Jeffersonville, PA, Calvin D. Shaner of Lexington, NC, Randy A. husband of Jamie Shaner of Ephrata, PA, Daniel L., husband of Tracey Shaner of Pottstown, PA; Five Granddaughters, Hailey Steube, Kira St. Clair, Lexie Shaner, Kaylin Miller, Cassidee Shaner; Five Grandsons, Sebastion Shaner, Chrystian Shaner, Gavin Miller, Evan St. Clair, Haden Shaner;

Relatives and friends will be received at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, PA on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 12:45-1:45 pm. The memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel K. Olsen. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
