Mary Ann (Trunks) Ashburn, age 63, wife of John C. Ashburn, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 at home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 31, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA, she was a daughter of the late Diana (Trevelyan) and Charles J. Trunks, Jr.

Mary Ann was a 1980 graduate of Radnor High School, and she went on to continue her studies at Villanova University. In her youth, she had been a member of Saint Katharine of Siena Catholic Church in Wayne, PA.

Mary Ann was a highly esteemed sales manager of menswear. She most recently found joy in working at Boyd's of Philadelphia, where she was honored to be the first woman in the history of the company to manage the Men's department. Throughout the years, Mary Ann was also a sales associate for Wanamaker's, Bloomingdale's, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

When not working, Mary Ann enjoyed working out and riding her Peloton. An avid reader, she found solace in fashion and impressionism art. Most of all, she loved when her family was all together and she cherished the time spent with them.

In addition to her husband, Mary Ann is survived by two children, Jack, husband of Colleen Ashburn and McKenzie Ashburn; three siblings, Charles Trunks III, Lucy Gold, and Christopher, husband of Courtney Trunks; and her nieces and nephews, Ellese, Jordan, Jadyn, Sydney, Hayley and Carder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass in the St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev.
