Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Duff, age 58, of East Norriton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Born on May 11, 1965, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Thomas Duff, of Audubon, PA and the late Barbara (Breen) Duff.

Mary received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Scranton in 1987. As a Certified Public Accountant since September 1997 and certified Professional Advisor for QuickBooks, she was the founder and President of Duff Accounting Solutions in West Norriton. She served as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Center for Advancement of Cancer Education from 2004 - 2010 and also as a Board Member, Vice-President and National Treasurer for the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance (formerly the "American Society of Women Accountants") from 2009 - 2016.

Mary was an avid golfer but most importantly, she was a loving and thoughtful aunt to her niece and nephews.

In addition to her father, Mary is survived by her brother: Thomas J. (Eileen W.) Duff; wife of Thomas Duff: Weezie Duff; sister-in-law: Vicki Ann Duff; and her niece and nephews: Thomas, Andrew, Melissa, Nathaniel and Matthew Duff; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother: John Patrick Duff.

Relatives and friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:00 pm Thursday evening, July 13, 2023 at the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. A Memorial Mass for Mary will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the St. Teresa of Avila R.C. Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon, PA. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Jerome Wild. Before the Mass, friends will be received from 9:00 to 9:45 before the service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
