Mary Ellen (Porter) Dunn, age 82, wife of the late LeRoy H. Dunn, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, PA. Born on October 11, 1933 in Knauertown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred (McFarland) Porter.

Mrs. Dunn had attended the former Warwick School, and was a member of the Coventryville United Methodist Church. An avid reader, she enjoyed living a simple life, spending her time with family and friends, and vacationing at her family's mountain cabin in Clinton County, PA.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by two daughters, Susan J., wife of Irvin Miller of Saint Peters, PA and Sherry J. Dunn of Pottstown, PA; one granddaughter, Amy L. Miller of New Jersey; four siblings, Larry C. Porter, Earl, husband of Connie Porter, Beatrice Dunn, and Zilpha, wife of John McIntyre, all of South Coventry. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel K. Porter.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Burial will be held privately in the Coventryville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the church.
